New Zealand - Day 3

We woke up early and got ready in a leisurely fashion before going out to breakfast in the sunny and bright dining room. We were treated to freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade granola, and belgian waffles with banana, kiwi, grapes and maple syrup. Yum!

After breakfast we headed out for a walk, strolling to the top of Mt Victoria for stunning 360 degree views of Auckland.

We got the ferry again into Auckland, then made use of the Link bus to take us to Parnell and Newmarket for shopping. Some confusion with the Link bus meant we ended up going back the way we had come so then we jumped on another bus to go to Mission Bay, a small but pretty beach lined with restaurants. We had a delicious antipasto lunch at De Fontein, a belgian beer cafe, Jen washed hers down with some ice cream as we strolled along the beach. When we got back into town we headed out to Ponsonby and down to Kagahape Road, the seedier part of town but worth seeing. From there we walked back to the ferry terminal and so back to the B&B.
